Career Development Planning

Facilitated by Megan Cardenas, Vice President, Training Manager at U.S. Bancorp Fund Services, and SEWI-ATD Member

It's the beginning of a new year, so we've decided on the topic of Career Development Planning.

We want to hear from you how the process works in your organization.

To prepare for the discussion, feel free to read this article: Employee development plan - everything you need to know.

Our discussion will focus on the following questions: 

  • How do you define it?
  • Do you have a formal development planning process?
  • What internal resources do you provide employees?
  • What external resources do you recommend to employees?
  • Is your process the same for your L&D staff?
  • Is this a need for your organization?

The purpose of our PDN is to bring together managers and supervisors within our industry to discuss topics of interest, current industry trends, collaborate on best practices, and connect with other colleagues in similar roles. Our goal is to help members of this network improve professionally and bring greater value to the organizations they serve.

Managers and supervisors, we hope you will join us! You do not need to be a member of the chapter to participate in our PDN.
