Dana Peters is the CEO of Mondo Learning Solutions. She has spent the past 20 years in leadership roles implementing strategic plans and leading solutions based sales, service, and business development initiatives. Consulting with corporate learning & development leaders to understand their unique needs in the virtual learning space, Dana connects them with the highest quality experts and niche training firms.
Before establishing Mondo Learning Solutions, Dana spent 15 years in executive roles within the credit union industry. Today, based on current trends, she has taken a special interest in the possibilities that eLearning and virtual learning bring to the workplace. Since Mondo’s inception, Dana has worked with clients to facilitate and produce high quality Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT) sessions, in addition to providing coaching, consulting, and support to those new to the VILT environment. Dana holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology and Sociology from St. Ambrose University.
Marilyn is an innovative and performance-focused workplace learning professional, with more than 15 years experience managing change initiatives, deploying learning programs, and building teams for global corporate initiatives. She is currently President of Zwissler and Associates, LLC, a performance improvement organization working with Fortune 1000 corporations throughout the US. Before starting her own company, Marilyn held the position of Learning Management Lead for Rockwell Automation's Global Process Transformation Project. She has led learning and change initiatives throughout Europe and the Mideast. She holds a Master's degree in Adult Learning and Organizational Development from Alverno College and became a Certified Learning and Performance Professional (CPLP) in 2010.
Andy Marris - President Elect
With more than 15 years of business management, marketing, and leadership experience in the sports broadcasting, financial services, health care, information technology, and human resources industries, Andy draws on his knowledge and experiences to help managers sharpen their leadership skills and business acumen. As a former graduate- and undergraduate-level business and marketing instructor, Andy discovered his passion for adult learning through fun, interactive, “real world” education. Andy's love of leadership development led him to his current role as a full-time talent development instructor in MRA—The Management Association's Institute of Management. Whether he is working with first-time supervisors, or seasoned leaders seeking continuous skill-set improvement, Andy makes the learning experience one that is measurable, memorable, and motivational.
Bob Von Der Linn, CPLP, has been practicing human resource development and process improvement for over twenty-five years with organizations such as Grumman, Brookhaven National Laboratories, and General Electric. Bob joined GE in 1997 as part of the development team for GE’s first enterprise-wide web-based e-learning application, and went on to roles at GE’s Crotonville Leadership Development Center and with GE Capital.
After parting ways with GE in April 2009, Bob became president and principal consultant for Change Leadership Resources, LLC – bringing expertise in change management, performance development, and technology-enabled learning to clients around the country. Bob has been a member of the Southeast Wisconsin ATD Chapter since 2008, and is currently their Secretary/Treasurer.
Laura Chartier transitioned to instructional design, eLearning design, and corporate training development after a long career in education. Since joining SEWI-ATD, Laura has improved the quality and content of our newsletter and website. Laura holds a Master of Education from National-Lewis University, majoring in Curriculum and Instruction. Laura also is a graduate of University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, graduating with a degree in Education. Laura also attended University of Wisconsin, Parkside where she majored in Geology and Earth Science Education.
Laura has numerous certifications for a variety of technical communication software and skills. Laura has led the way in our chapter incorporating and promoting technology in her role as VP of Communications.
Laura brings more than 20 years of consulting and management experience both as a practitioner, manager, and learning leader with many Fortune 500 national and global companies. She has worked in a variety of industries, including professional consulting, learning services, telecommunications, medical, medical devices, pharmaceutical, and utilities.Laura holds a Master's degree in Education, majoring in Instructional Technology from Northern Illinois University. Laura was an active leader in the Chicago Chapter of ATD (Association for Talent Development) and currently serves on the Board for SEWI-ATD as the VP of Technology for its members.
Meica holds a Master of Arts in Human Resource Management and Organizational Change, Master of Science in Administrative Leadership and Adult and Continuing Education, and a PHR designation. Meica is also an MBTI® Certified Practitioner.
A self-proclaimed credit union fanatic, she holds certifications as a Credit Union HR Compliance Professional; Credit Union Development Educator for the United States and the European Union. Additionally, Tobi holds a Masters of Education in Human Resources Development from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign; a Master's Certificate in Strategic Human Resources Planning from the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business; a Master's Certificate in Instructional Design from UW-Stout; and double Bachelor of Arts in English and Women's Studies from the University of Georgia. She is Predictive Index (PI) certified and is currently pursuing HCI's Analytics for Talent Management Certification.
Shari Saeger - VP Community Relations
Passionate about helping people grow professionally and personally, Shari Saeger built and turned around a number of Sales and Support teams in the telecommunications and ecommerce marketing industries. She credits her success with understanding how to inspire, train and develop people in order to build high performance teams. With over 25 years of experience leading others, Shari focuses on coaching and developing individual strengths, building teamwork and defining systems and processes to support team success. She has facilitated over 250 workshops and classes over the past ten years in business, higher education and volunteer work in the community.
Saeger holds a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from St. Norbert College and received Certificates in Train the Trainer and Organizational Development from UW-Milwaukee in 2014.
As a member of ATD since 2012, Saeger has volunteered for the past three years as an ATD Coach for the United Way Speakers Bureau and served as the Community Relations Chair in 2015 before stepping into her current role as VP Community Relations.
In March, 2016, Saeger joined MRA as a trainer and is focused on facilitating the sales training programs offered to its members.
