Our strength as a chapter depends upon volunteers.  Accordingly, we'd like to invite you to grow professionally and cultivate your leadership skills while giving back to the community. We can match your interests and availability with volunteer opportunities.  If you don't yet have experience in an area that catches your eye?  No worries!  We’ll help you build your skills. 

Our volunteers enjoy:

• Meeting new people and engaging in additional networking opportunities
• Reinforcing existing relationships
• Finding a higher purpose by helping others

Here's how you can support SEWI-ATD:

• Community Relations is interested in finding eager coaches and facilitators for our Presentation Skills Workshops for United Way in May and June. 

• Membership is looking for creative individuals to brainstorm new ideas, welcome members, assist with new member orientations and the development of other initiatives to improve the members experience.  
  
  
• Professional Development / Program Planning is looking for smiling faces to welcome industry experts, help members check-in at programs, send out surveys, and/or assist with venue organization and other planning aspects from behind the scenes.
  
  
• Communications & Marketing is seeking imaginative minds with a knack for writing, an eye for design, and/or a desire to assist in the creation of a variety of communications/marketing materials (through desktop publishing of eblasts, newsletters, and print materials; crafting or procuring blog posts; and supporting our presence on social media).

• Additional opportunities are available in the areas of Finance and Technology Services.
