Training Delivery PDN

General Information

Facilitators, stand-up trainers, and remote instructors are all invited to participate in our Training Delivery PDN. This group will share best practices and tips on all aspects of delivering training experiences. Whether you are a new facilitator learning how to structure your classroom, or an experienced trainer looking to engage your participants at a deeper level, this group is for you!

Your Facilitators

Susan Keith, CPTD - Northwestern Mutual


Sue has spent over 25 years in the field of Training & Development, in roles that include face to face and virtual facilitation, instructional design, and learning event management. She has a master of arts in Adult education from Alverno College and holds the CPTD certification from ATD national. Currently working as a Field Events Strategy Consultant for Northwestern Mutual. She is a past board member and has been involved with the chapter for nearly 20 years. Hobbies include travel, trail running, and spending time with family. 



Sheri Weaver, CPTD, CISR - West Bend Insurance Company

Sheri is deeply motivated and inspired to create and deliver learning experiences that are memorable, impactful and filled with energy.  Her passion for fostering and supporting a learning culture is put into practice in her role at West Bend Insurance Company leading the Commercial Enterprise Training team.  With over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, Sheri combines her appreciation for the insurance industry with her love of helping others grow and develop. 


Kathleen Volk - Milwaukee Tool

Kathleen has been fascinated with how people learn and helping people learn since she was an adolescent.  This love of learning (and learners) led her to a career training students how to tutor and delivering scalable academic support workshops.  After changing careers, she sought a generalist L&D role to further develop skills in the field ranging from eLearning design and development to LMS administration.  Now, as a senior instructional designer, Kathleen consults within the business to diagnose, solution, and build experiences for employees to improve performance.   


Rhonda Sharpe - Advocate Health

Rhonda Sharpe has a wide range of experiences in numerous professional settings - healthcare, technology, Indian Gaming, financial. Her journey to L&D was not a direct path; however, there were seeds planted along the way. She builds collaborative partnerships with diverse audiences in business, non-profit and higher education settings. During her career (thus far) she has been employed as an instructional designer, organizational development specialist, and project manager (just to name a few). They are all melding together in her current role as an Sr. Instructional Designer with Advocate Health.  Currently, she is also an adjunct instructor at Marquette University and Waukesha County Technical College.
