Learn to integrate mindfulness practices into your talent development process
Mindfulness and Learning
Presented by Susan Lubar Solvang Founder and President of Growing Minds Inc.
Mindfulness inspires and empowers us to lead from a place of self–awareness, clarity, and kindness. By incorporating purposeful pauses to manage stress and step out of automatic, conditioned patterns, you can begin to cultivate nourishing habits for yourself and and guide others from a place intentionality and vitality. When practiced regularly, these simple moments can encourage us to see the world with curiosity and compassion and creating stronger and more trusting relationships, allowing for better outcomes.
Everyone has the natural ability to bring their attention to what they are doing in the present moment.
Being mindful is learning how to extend and maintain those moments of focus to bring awareness to one’s daily emotional patterns, creating a platform to interrupt and retrain oneself for more conscious choice-making.
After repeated practice, neural connections develop which help rewire our patterns and develop constructive habits of thinking and acting. These simple, yet powerful practices can be used throughout the day to emotionally reset when needed. They can be used anywhere and anytime to manage emotions, reframe situations and step back from depleting thoughts.
